COFFEE WITH A DOC

Interested in family medicine?  If so, learn from family physicians in the St. Louis area about their specialty, a day in the life of a family doc, work/life balance (yes, it does exist), and much more.  Coffee is on us at a date, time, and location convenient for you.  Submit your request and we will contact you.

APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP

This year's AAFP FUTURE Conference (formerly the AAFP National Conference for Family Medicine Residents and Students) will be held July 31 - August 2, 2025, in Kansas City.  The St. Louis AFP is pleased to offer our student and resident members a $175 scholarship to help offset your registration and travel expenses.  Be sure to join the Missouri AFP at their reception on Friday evening for their resident and student board member elections.

VISITING STUDENT STIPEND PROGRAM

The Visiting Student Stipend Program is established by the St. Louis Academy of Family Physicians (SLAFP) to reduce financial barriers for fourth-year medical students who are completing a family medicine sub-internship at an accredited St. Louis-area residency program. The Program is intended solely to provide financial support for costs associated with visiting rotations, including travel, housing, and living expenses. It is not intended to influence, nor shall it be construed as influencing, residency application, interview, ranking, or match outcomes.  If you have any questions after reading the Program information, please contact the Executive Director (info@slafp.org).
